I saw a post awhile back with the idea to make a mini putt or miniature golf course out of Duplo. I thankfully remembered it during a run of rainy days when I was on the brink of going insane! I am so glad I remembered this rainy day activity perfect for toddlers, preschool and school ages kids. Both us adults got involved as well!
We spent an hour building and rebuilding several targets and then we got to golf. This means the boys worked on fine and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, teamwork (just barely at times), sportsmanship and math skills. They probably just thought they were playing but there was a lot of problem solving and spatial relationship work being done! The best part, we got to spend some great family time together!
