I think I could singlehandedly polish off a whole big bowl of Easter Bunny Trail Mix*. It is so yummy! Last year I made sure to ‘accidentally leave’ the leftovers at an annual Easter potluck we attended. My friend Amanda both thanked me and cursed me, she said it was addictive. The sneaky minx she didn’t let her kids know she had it! I can just imagine her nibbling on it after her boys went to bed!
And it couldn’t be any easier to make if you tried! My only downfall was I couldn’t find a big bag of yogurt raisins so I had to slave away opening up all the tiny boxes!
*Nothing in this screams Easter so technically you could make it ANYTIME of the year! It would be fun for a birthday.
I am not usually a ‘sweets’ person but this is a pretty yummy lineup of ingredients! I think we don’t have actual Coco Pops in Canada but I found a house brand box from Walmart. Smarties are kind of like M&Ms if you are not fortunate enough to be Canadian you could use them. It seems so weird that although neighbours we have different foods! Like seriously when are we going to get Cherry 7-Up in Canada?
Just take equal amounts of everything and mix it together! It would be really cute in little cello bags to hand out.
I served it in a big bowl and had small little cups for the kiddos to scoop it into. I then hooked myself up with a 4 year old who didn’t like yogurt raisins (my fave) and trade him for my chocolate cereal (his favourite and my least favourite)-SCORE!
A perfect little pre-egg hunt treat!
